Welcome to “A Mermaid’s Pearls”
The Name “A Mermaid’s Pearls” came as I was walking by the sea on a full moon night.
The full moon reflecting in the ocean waters had caught my attention. Suddenly, directly in front of the full moon I caught a glimpse of a long tail with fins glistening like a Mermaid’s tail. The lighting of the moon on the tail and fins creating the illusion of a Mermaid diving into the sea with a pearl behind her.
That scene made me think about Mermaids and Pearls. How Mermaids are symbols of mystery and love and how an irritant becomes the source of a beautiful Pearl. Then a thought came to me about how something beautiful can form, not because it must, but because it can.
Love, beauty, art, nature, joy, peace, purity, all don’t have to exist but they do because they can. Each of us helps those qualities exist.
Each time we pay attention to Love, beauty, joy, purity and peace and allow them into our individual lives they become stronger to us and to the world around us. My hope is that while you are using products that I create you are reminded of being in Nature with a sense Love, Beauty, Joy and Peace enveloping you. About Inspiration for Products
Long walks on the beach and in nature are some of my favorite things. For me nature is where inspiration and imagination are a joyful encounter where good things are always possible and being fully present in the moment is all that matters. It is on these ocean walks along the varied coasts of New England from Maine to New Hampshire to Cape Cod and the islands that ideas for the products I create are born.

About our ingredients:
Shea Butter
Our organic Shea butter is filled with vitamin A and is deeply moisturizing. Shea is derived from nuts that grow in Africa, and it is known for being very nourishing to the skin. Shea butter can improve skin blemishes, eczema, dry skin, wrinkles and dermatitis. Shea is also known to soothe insect bites, sunburn and frostbite.
Mango Butter
In skin care, we flock to mango butter for its moisturizing essential fatty acids. It’s rich in oleic acid, a mono-unsaturated omega-9 acid; and stearic acid, a saturated fatty acid. These are ingredients that the skin readily recognizes, takes up, and uses to help add moisture to the skin as it tightens and firms the appearance of skin.
